The Cameron Group originated in 1969 when Allan M. Cameron Jr. bought his first printing press and started A.M Cameron & Company. In 1970 the printing base was increased with the purchase of the assets of Art Tape and Label Corporation; which was the first of the Cameron companies to exist in its present day format.
To increase the vertical integration necessary for success, General Adhesives and Laminates emerged in 1979 with the purchase of a narrow web adhesive coater. As the logical extension progressed, the assets of Morgan Adhesives Labeling Systems Division, which was located in Schaumburg, Illinois, was purchased during the same year. Renamed CamTron Systems, Inc., the company was eventually relocated to 444 Interstate Road, Addison, Illinois.

CamTron Systems manufactures automatic and semi-automatic pressure sensitive labeling equipment which is capable of accepting product flow from line conveyers at variable speeds.
Art Tape and Label is a custom label converter.
We are able to print a large variety of labels for any
application purpose using our Mark Andy and Webtron
presses. Our presses are narrow and wide web capable,
with the ability of running up to 16" material and printing up
to 10 colors. We also carry over 5000 in-house dies for all of
your labeling needs. Whether the job needs to be die cut, kiss
cut, perforated, fanfolded, pinfed, or a piggyback; We can do it all!
We are able to print a large variety of labels for any

Another advantage we have at Art Tape and Label is our ink department. We have a wide variety of UV and waterbased inks and clear coats in our inventory. We are easily able to mix and match PMS or specialty colors for all of your requirements. Having our own ink department ensures quality and flexability during the production of your labels.
Art Tape and Label is also equipt with a full prepress department capable of producing rough and comprehensive layouts, digital artwork and corrections, typesetting, positive and negative films, proofs, and of course printing plates. By producing our own printing plates and having a fully functional prepress department, we can have a more hands on approach in turning your label concept into a reality.
CamTron machines will separate, time, orient and label packages and return them to line flow. Every machine is built to meet the specific needs of each individual customer's manufacturing plant.
CamTron machines can apply labels up to 12" wide in any direction and at any location on your product or container. Labels can be applied using a roll-on system, roll-on air assisted systems, tamp (impressor) systems, or tamp with blow off system.
In addition, CamTron Systems can be built to interface with conveyors, wrap-stations, imprinters (such as liquid ink, hot stamp, or computer generated), and missing label detectors. Best of all, CamTron Systems' applicators are an affordable solution for your label affixing tasks.

We purchase the three main raw materials: face stock, adhesive, and a liner; and we convert them into a printable material. By purchasing each component separately, we are able to manufacture a custom product for our customer. You choose the face stock,
you choose the adhesive, and you choose the liner that fits your needs.
By converting our own materials we greatly reduce our stock costs.
This in turn allows us to be a low cost producer, and pass those
savings onto you, the customer.
